On 6th April 2013 (Saturday), at Netaji Indoor Stadium in Kolkata, Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee presented these Sangeet Mahasamman & Sangeet Samman awards to the eminent personalities and also inaugurates the Bangla Sangeet Mela 2013 in the presence of legendary artist from Bangladesh Feroza Begun along with renowned personalities of Bengal like Sandhya Mukherjee, Dwijen Mukherjee & others.
