Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in collaboration with NCHM has started 3 years B.Sc in Bachelor in Hotel Management & Technology course in Distance Education mode as well. It’s an examination of 200 marks consisting Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). MCQ questions are set from English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Aptitude of Service Sector and Reasoning paper. Qualified candidates get the chance of admission through counseling. AICTE also follows an entrance test for admission. West Bengal Joint Council conducts an entrance test for Hotel Management admission during May/June month. This entrance test is also of 200 marks and consist of MCQ [General Knowledge, English Language, Logical Deduction & Numerical Aptitude]. Successfully qualified candidates called for counseling process.
