CPIM leader Joynal Seikh, arrested by Nanoor Police on 25th August 2010 from Palundi village. Police also recovered some fire ammunitions and guns from Joynal Seikh's house. Joynal seikh is the panchayat member of Thupsara village, Nanoor in West Bengal.

Joynal Seikh was accused of murdering Trinamool Congres's block leader Sona Chowdhury. Joynal Seikh was leading the CPIM goons who have shot dead Sona Chowdhury on 14th February 2010.
Though on that day evening, police arrested Joynal, but CPIM goons snached him from police. Since then it is 5 months now Joynal was hiding. Finally police caught Joynal Seikh from Palundi.
Joynal seikh was allegedly involved in two other murder case of Trinamool supporters. Though CPIM rubbished all the allegations against him and described that it is pure trapping by Trinamool Congress.
Trinamool Nanoor block president Ashok Ghosh said, that now our supporter can travel unharmed.T here will be peace in Nanoor again. Birbhum SP Humayun Kabir said, Joynal will be produced before court on 26th August 2010. Though police has raided different places with the inputs collected from Joynal Seikh.
